UNITE for Happy Hour @ Sign of the Whale
Thursday, March 1 from 6PM - 9PM
The UNITE Foundation, in collaboration with Sign of the Whale, invites you to a night of charity, beer, and MINUTE TO WIN IT CHALLENGES to help fund another year of Camp UNITE! This time, we're giving away fabulous prizes (including a $50 bar tab!) in a raffle-style event where winning physical challenges garners you tickets and GLORY! Think you can build a solid house of cards in under 60 seconds? How about after enjoying three hours of happy hour prices?
So join us on Thursday, March 1st from 6pm - 9pm at the Sign of the Whale for $3 mixed drinks, beer, and wine, $5 burgers and appetizers, fabulous prizes, and a slew of MINUTE TO WIN IT CHALLENGES!
Looking Ahead to Camp UNITE 2012
The Camp UNITE 2012 organizing team sends its Season Greetings from Togo! We are off to a great start and excited for an amazing upcoming camp year. Our team this year consists of three Peace Corps Volunteers and three Togolese Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) leaders.
Our three Togolese Organizers are:
- Sibabi Ourobou from Sokode (Development Worker at NGO ADIFF and Camp UNITE staffer since 2008)
- Essenam "Tanti" Dondjo from Aneho (French professor and Camp UNITE staffer since 2003)
- Esse Dandonougbo from Agbelouve (Physics professor and Camp UNITE staffer since 2008).
Our three Peace Corps Organizers are:
- Chelsie Miller from Bedford, Texas
- Andy Mullin from Cincinnati, Ohio
- Emily "Naka" Jones from Dedham, Massachusetts.
