The UNITE Foundation
The UNITE Foundation is pleased to partner with SAIS Runs, the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies’ running club, for a charity event to benefit Camp UNITE. Our team will be entering the 2010 Cherry Blossom Festival 10-mile Run & 5k Run/Walk and The George Washington Parkway Classic 10-miler & 5k Run.
Our goal is to raise $5,280, enough to send 32 campers to Camp UNITE 2010. This will be counted as part of The UNITE Foundation’s “9x9” Campaign - an effort to raise $9,000 for the 9th year of camp UNITE.
In preparation for race day, SAIS Runs will be holding a training program open to all participants in the DC area interested in joining the team and running the 10-mile or 5k courses, or walking the 5k course. Outings will begin in January.
